Sankah is a small home fragrance brand based in Ayrshire, Scotland, founded by husband and wife duo Kyle and Stacey. Originally launched in 2019, Sankah began with hand-poured wax melts created to bring warmth and calm into everyday spaces. As we relaunch, giving back sits gently at the centre of what we do. A portion of every sale helps support bereavement projects and initiatives, both locally and across the UK.

The beginning of Sankah

From 2019 to 2023, Sankah built a loyal customer base who returned time and again for our high-quality, long-lasting wax melts and strong scent throw. From our base in Ayrshire, Scotland, we focused on creating carefully made home fragrance designed to fill spaces with warmth and fragrance that lasts.

In 2023, we chose to step away from the business as our family prepared to welcome our son, Alfie. Although Sankah paused, scent and home fragrance remained a quiet part of everyday life — something we continued to return to for comfort and calm.

A new chapter shaped by love and loss

Towards the end of 2025, our family experienced the stillbirth of our daughter, Isabella. During that time, fragrance became more than something we simply enjoyed; lighting candles and melting wax brought small moments of calm and quiet reassurance into our home.

Scent has a way of holding memories gently. It can create space to pause, to reflect, and to feel close to moments that matter. As we began to think about Sankah again, it felt important that this next chapter reflected a deeper understanding of what home fragrance can offer; not only scent, but warmth, presence and comfort when it is needed most.

Giving back with every order

A portion of every order will be donated to support bereavement projects, initiatives and charities. As Sankah grows, the focus of our giving may evolve; from local community projects to wider UK support initiatives. We’ll always share updates so you can see the difference your orders help make.
